SUPPORT SERVICES

Dealing with the shock of being diagnosed with cancer affects the patient as well as their family and friends. The physicians and staff of the Family Cancer Center understand this and offer our patients and their care givers access to support groups, nutritionists and a wide range of resources.

Our "Circle of Life" support group typically meets the 3rd Friday of every month from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. The programs are geared toward patients and their families and offer a wide variety of topics and activities.

The "Look Good – Feel Better" program teaches patients how to look their best. This program is sponsored and was developed by the American Cancer Society and is designed specifically for cancer patients undergoing active treatment. Volunteer cosmetologists provide beauty tips and techniques to help patients combat appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Join us for our next meeting.
